Peter has spoken at the Franchise Council of Australia’s National Conference on 3 separate occasions, and to most of the state FCA conferences. He has also been a keynote speaker for the Property Council of Australia, and many of Spectrum’s major clients National Conferences.

The topics Peter normally addresses include:

• Sure Fire Site Selection – a discussion on the decision process in selecting a store. This topic covers small networks thru to large networks, and includes a real life discussion using a KFC example (with permission of KFC) on how you can do a Market Analysis. Some of the practical knowledge also comes from Peter’s oil industry background.

• Nine tips to great site selection – this address follows the basic lines of the E-book that can be downloaded for free on our website.

• How many territories & Defining territories made easy – this can be handled in 2 parts and assists companies in the strategic decisions around establishing territories and how to do it so that each territory has similar demand. This methodology has been used by 2 of the largest banks in Australia in establishing their home loan franchises.

• Will you survive in a mature, competitive market – a thought provoking topic looking at the changes occurring in retail as sites become bigger and more efficient. Peter uses his oil industry knowledge to draw comparisons to most other mature businesses, where site numbers are ever decreasing, and the remaining sits are becoming more efficient and cost competitive. This speech relates to most mature businesses.
