FCA Franchise Academy - Diploma of Franchising

 

Have you considered training your staff to better understand the world of Franchising?

 

The new Diploma of Franchising is suitable for your staff or franchisees, irrespective of their levels of formal education. It is also most suitable for individuals with technical or functional qualifications (but with limited formal management education or training).

 

This program is designed to extend the core competencies of existing and potential franchisors in this growing mode of business including:

 

  • Franchisors who have developed a planned concept

  • Franchisors who have established a franchising operation from an existing business or chain of businesses

  • Individuals preparing (or considering)  to establish a franchise

  • Operational leadership of established franchisors

The Diploma in Franchising has been developed by experts who understand the day-to-day challenges of operating and managing a franchise business model. Students are offered practical knowledge and learning outcomes that can be applied to their every day tasks.

 

Multiple Coaching Services, in partnership with the Franchise Council of Australia and the Franchise Academy, presents the face-to-face diploma including course components hosted and presented by experts in their field. Greg Nathan (Franchise Relationship Institute), Peter Buckingham (Spectrum Analysis) and Jason Gehrke (Franchise Advisory Centre) lead the speakers list in this unique education program.

 

The diploma is endorsed by the FCA and the Franchise Academy, accredited under the RTO of William Angliss Institute of TAFE  and recognised nationally.

 

The diploma is undertaken in one workshop a week over 12 weeks held in either Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Perth or Adelaide.

 

Each workshop focuses on one area of competency taught by a number of specialist facilitators, with a program facilitator managing the overall learning outcomes for students.

 

Registrations are now open for the following commencement dates:

 

Brisbane - Monday 7th February

Sydney - Tuesday 8th February

Melbourne - Wednesday 9th February

Perth - Wednesday 16th February

Adelaide - Thursday 17th February

QLD Floods on NearMap ... Highly Recommended

 

I thought I should tell you about NearMap, which we are finding is really great to use. It is like Google Maps, however far more up-to-date, and you can look at the same view at different dates. Really interesting to look at new estates and how many houses are being built, or just check out your neighbour’s renovations! Try looking at your own house and you may see your dog, untidy backyard or if the pool is clean or dirty.

 

More relevant to the last couple of weeks however, is that the NearMap team have uploaded their latest images (dated 14 Jan 2011), based around the QLD Floods regions. Click on the link HERE to see just how extensive the flooding has been in some areas. Here is just one example:

 Site Selection & Territory Planning seminars for 2011 

 

We would like to thank all of those who attended our 'Franchise Site Selection & Territory Planning' seminars throughout 2010. They were all a huge success; contributing to some of the more memorable events ... none more so than the visit of the Queen's Baton to one of our seminars (on its way to the Delhi Commonwealth Games).
